I like making complicated things a little clearer.
My work spans product research, websites, and B2B ingredients. Across these different fields, I try to understand the problem, pay attention to the details, and make the next step useful.

Careful thinking. Useful work.
Research, websites, ingredients, and notes on practical uses of AI.
Different fields. A familiar way of working.
A research question, a website, and an ingredient enquiry each come with their own details. I begin by understanding what is needed, checking what is known, and working out a practical next step.
This website brings those parts of my work together, along with the things I am learning as I go.
Search and AI
AI SEO in Malaysia, as I understand it
You may have found this page through Google, or because ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews mentioned my name. Either way, that is the part of my work I find most interesting right now: AI SEO in Malaysia, and what it takes for a Malaysian business to be understood by search engines and AI platforms alike.
The details are on two pages: how I work as an SEO specialist, and how I design websites that are built to be found.
What AI SEO is
Traditional SEO helps a page earn a ranking in the search results. AI search adds a step: generative AI such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Gemini reads pages, writes an answer, and sometimes cites its sources. AI SEO, also called generative engine optimisation (GEO) or answer engine optimisation (AEO), is the work of being found, understood and cited by AI in those answers. Some people simply call it AI visibility.
How GEO and AI SEO fit with traditional SEO
Mostly, AI SEO works alongside traditional SEO rather than replacing it. AI models rely on the same SEO fundamentals as a search engine: pages that can be crawled and indexed, clear structure, and accurate facts. Ranking well and a complete Google Business Profile still matter. What changes is that search visibility now also means being described accurately in AI responses, so my approach is to combine SEO basics with checks on how AI systems describe a site.
Start with an SEO audit
Before changing anything, I check the existing SEO foundation. A technical SEO audit looks at crawling, indexing, page speed and structured data, because an AI tool cannot quote a page it cannot read. It usually shows a few problems worth fixing first.
Make the facts easy to find
Who the business is, what it offers and where it works should be stated plainly, in English and Bahasa Malaysia where customers use both, and kept the same across the website and its profiles. Clear facts give AI engines fewer chances to guess, wherever across Malaysia someone is searching from.
Answer real questions
People ask Google and AI-powered assistants full questions. Pages with clear headings and short, direct answers are easier to quote and more likely to appear in AI answers, so the content follows what people actually ask, not a keyword count.
Check what AI tools say
On my own sites, I ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Mode what they know, and note what is missing or wrong. Then I fix the pages, not the prompt. AI SEO tools can help with the checking, but I still read the answers myself. This website is one of those experiments: structured data that describes me, a plain summary for AI tools, and pages written to answer questions directly.
Questions about AI search visibility in Malaysia
What people often ask about getting found on Google and in AI answers.
Is AI SEO different from normal SEO?
It builds on it. Some call it AI-driven SEO, but the foundations are the same: a site Google can crawl, useful content and accurate facts. AI SEO adds attention to how ChatGPT, Gemini and the AI Overview at the top of Google read and quote a page.
Can small businesses in Malaysia benefit from AI SEO?
Often, yes. A small business with clear, accurate pages about a specific service gives AI platforms less room to get it wrong. The basics come first: a fast site, a complete Google Business Profile and pages that answer customer questions.
How long does AI SEO take to show results?
It depends on the site and the competition, and nobody controls when an AI tool starts citing a page. Google needs time to crawl and trust changes, so it is usually a matter of months rather than days.
How much do AI SEO services in Malaysia cost?
I do not set prices on this site. Total Web Solutions publishes each SEO package and its pricing, and a free website review is the simplest way to see what a site needs.
How do I choose an AI SEO agency in Malaysia?
Whether you are comparing digital marketing agencies, SEO experts or a small team, ask to see their SEO strategies, what they check, how they report it, and what they will not promise. Be careful of anyone who guarantees a ranking or an AI citation, because nobody controls Google or the AI platforms.
Do you offer AI SEO as a separate service?
No. I do this work through Total Web Solutions, a small team that works remotely with businesses in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. For me, AI visibility is part of the same website and SEO work.

What I work on
Website design, SEO and care
Through Total Web Solutions, I work on website design, SEO, and ongoing website care. I pay attention to how a business explains itself, how people find useful information, and what needs looking after once the site is live.
Research and ingredients
My background is in pharmaceutical product research. Alongside that, I sell B2B ingredients with FC Materials, and most of the work is in conversations about applications, requirements, and supporting information.
Practical uses of AI
I am exploring how AI can support research, writing, and everyday workflows. I share useful experiments, including the parts that still need checking and improvement.
The habits I carry into the work
Research has taught me to look closely at the details. Website work keeps me thinking about the person who needs to use what I build. Ingredient conversations bring me back to the importance of asking the right questions.
I am still learning how these experiences can help me do better work. My story explains how it started, in a plant tissue culture lab.

A scary headline, and the smaller truth behind it
A backdoored Claude Code extension was real. "Millions of laptops hacked" was not. Here is what happened, and the lesson I am keeping.
